About Us

As I introduced Noctis to others under my guidance, I witnessed his impact on them as well. Observing their growth, clarity, and transformation, I knew that this experience was needed by so many more. This realization brought Branded Dreams Mustangs to life, fueled by the idea of helping others find connection, growth, and healing through horses. I chose to focus on mustangs, because of their unique sensitivity and ability to reflect human emotions. Mustangs possess a heightened awareness from their time in the wild, picking up on subtle changes in energy, emotions, and intent. This quality, combined with their intelligence and resilience, makes working with them deeply transformative for clients. For now we use a herd of primarily domestic born horses but as this program grows we will incorporate more mustangs and offer gentling programs where participants can experience guided interactions with untouched horses in a safe, educational, environment.​

 

Owning Noctis not only ignited a passion for mustangs but also revealed the urgent need to give them homes and purpose. Too many mustangs are gathered from the wild and left in holding pens, waiting for an uncertain future. My mission became clear: to advocate for mustangs, raise awareness of their incredible versatility and capabilities, and provide them with a pathway to connect with people and ultimately find forever homes. With this vision in mind, I began laying the foundation for Branded Dreams Mustangs.

 

The early stages of this journey were supported by conversations and encouragement from friends and mentors. One conversation with a close friend, Seth Rubin, became a turning point. When he asked me, “If you could do anything, what would you do?” I shared my dream of creating a place where people and horses could grow together. Little did I know that his question would spark a journey that would eventually turn this dream into a reality.​

 

Like any new venture, Branded Dreams Mustangs faced initial challenges, particularly in securing a facility suited for wild mustangs. Although I currently operate from a private boarding facility where I keep Noctis, it is not fully equipped for housing and handling wild mustangs. My goal is to find a location of my own that can accommodate these unique horses, enabling me to expand the program and offer more services. This journey is still in progress, but each step brings me closer to the vision I have for Branded Dreams Mustangs.​

 

Noctis remains the heart of this business and the inspiration for all it stands for. Without him, I may never have had the courage to pursue EFL so passionately. Watching him help others navigate anxiety, regulate their emotions, and communicate clearly has been a testament to the powerful impact horses can have. His story of resilience and transformation has become symbolic of the journey I hope to offer every client who steps into Branded Dreams Mustangs.​

 

The core of Branded Dreams Mustangs lies in the transformative power of equine-facilitated learning. With my background in corporate learning and development, combined with a deep interest in psychology and human behavior, EFL felt like a natural extension of my skills and passions. Through this work, I can help clients build self-awareness, resilience, and effective communication, empowering them to achieve their personal and professional goals. My vision has always been to integrate EFL with the healing power of mustangs, creating a unique program that fosters growth, connection, and transformation.​

 

To create this experience, I draw from the teachings of Dr. Susan Fay, author of Sacred Spaces, and renowned horse trainer Warwick Schiller, whose philosophies greatly influence my approach. They emphasize horses’ unique role in helping humans explore their inner world, communicate clearly, and experience healing within a safe and sacred space. With Dr. Fay’s insights into “sacred spaces,” I learned how horses act as identifiers for self-reflection of our emotions and energy, encouraging clients to confront and understand their inner selves. Schiller’s focus on patience and presence in the moment and the horse-human relationship underscores the importance of building trust and empathy, skills that clients can take beyond the barn.​

 

My philosophy positions horses as co-facilitators in the learning process, modeling mindfulness, resilience, and self-acceptance. Horses’ grounding presence encourages us to slow down, regulate our emotions, and connect with our authentic selves. As prey animals, horses are exquisitely sensitive to non-verbal cues, body language, and energy, offering honest feedback that fosters empathy and patience. They teach us to embrace gradual progress, cultivating personal growth as a steady, evolving journey.
